You can and should protect your organization’s name and content; otherwise, people can take and use your intellectual property. They may even deliberately confuse your supporters and others into thinking they are you.

You can put initial protections into place at no cost, and you can create further protections that have some cost, but come with greater protective benefits. In addition, your name and content could have value that can generate revenue for you.
